Internal Auditor
Job Description
As an Internal Auditor, you will be part of the Internal Audit department at LPE Capital (parent company of DEGIRO). You will be responsible for conducting audits (operational, compliance and IT) within the Group (DEGIRO and other entities). This means that you will evaluate the design and assess the operating effectiveness of internal controls. discuss findings, possibilities for improvement with management and preparing audit reports, together with the Head of Internal Audit. You will have the unique opportunity to work in a department of an international group.
The responsibilities of this function entail:
Work closely together with the Head of Internal Audit/Senior Auditor to fulfill the mission of the Internal Audit Function: to add value and improve the Group’s operations by providing risk-based and objective assurance activity.
Performing audit engagement planning, audit preparation, audit execution, drafting the audit report and discussing it with management and monitoring the findings.
Deploy your knowledge and skills to further build and strengthen the Internal Audit Function within the group.
Continuously look for improvements of the group’s governance, risk management and control processes.
Conduct and evaluate specific operations at the request of the Management Board or the Supervisory Board.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related;
RO, RE and/or RA title or studying (or similar international equivalent);
2 till 5 years of working experience in internal (preferable) or external auditing;
Fluent in Dutch and English is essential;
Enthusiastic team-player with a pragmatic committed approach;
Able to priorities and manage multiple tasks;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Knowledge of financial processes, investment products and the financial regulatory environment is an advantage;
Driven team player who realizes a challenge and can work independently;
A pragmatic and attention to detail oriented work ethic.
